Jeremy Bernick

Student, Graduate and Professional Student Council President

Jeremy Bernick (they/them) is a current second-year J.D. Candidate (Class of 2025) at the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers' College of Law. They are passionate about pursuing a career in the public interest and their experiences intersect at the crossroads of worker’s rights, technology policy, and the law. Alongside their role as President of the Graduate Student body at the University of Arizona, Jeremy also currently serves as the sole public sector workforce appointee for the Presidential Advisory Board on AI policy for the Communication Workers of America (CWA), and will be joining the General Counsel’s Office of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) this Summer as an incoming law clerk. Prior to law school, Jeremy was a research fellow at the National Science Foundation's Center for Quantum Networks, an international, multi-university partnership where they worked on developing governance standards for global, quantum communication systems. They graduated from the University of Arizona Honors College with a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Law (PPEL) in 2020.
