Engineers lead $1.2M project to 3D-print parts for hypersonic vehicles

When engineers 3D-print metal objects, they use metals originally developed for conventional manufacturing. It works, but not as well as it could. Two UArizona experts are using a new suite of equipment to develop alloys optimized for both 3D printing and hypersonic flight.

UArizona proposes 3% increase for resident tuition, 4% increase for nonresident tuition for 2023-24

Fulbright Scholar Top Producing 2022-2023

UArizona named No. 1 producer of Fulbright Scholars

A record 17 UArizona faculty members and researchers received Fulbrights in 2022-2023. That number makes the university the No. 1 producer of Fulbright Scholars nationally, tied with Pennsylvania State University.
